Church of Jesus Christ

The concept is simple. If we understand as a generation what it means to love the way God commanded us to. To love God, to love people then we’ll change the world. We need to start living this thing out. Not just learning what it is to jump around and have a good time.. Praise and worship. That’s all part of it but it is about being changed from the inside out. To make a difference, and to worship God in spirit and truth. To pursue justice, to help the lost, to help the broken. What we are apart of is way bigger then any individual, it’s way bigger then any band, and its way bigger then any celebrity, or person. What we are apart of is something that is going to change the world its called the church of Jesus Christ. To be saved costs us nothing, To be a Disciple costs us everything.

A Beautiful Cake Awaits

I was once at a retreat and Pastor Thomson talked about how different life experiences, good or bad, can come together to make something beautiful. He asked us, “Would you eat raw eggs by itself? Eat a stick of butter at your kitchen table? Likewise, you can’t look at just one “ingredient” or “moment” in your life, and complain or be depressed; to be truly joyful through all circumstances and persevere through struggles, you have to look at every situation from God’s point of view and have faith that a beautiful cake awaits when all these different “ingredients” blend together in perfect harmony. -Deborah Moon

Baby Don't You Cry (Pie Song) from Waitress Soundtrack
When the world is gray and bleak
Baby don't you cry
I will give you every bit of love that is in my heart
I will bake it up… into a simple little pie

Baby don't you cry gonna make a pie
Gonna make a pie with a heart in the middle
Baby don’t be blue
Gonna make for you
Gonna make a pie with a heart in the middle
Gonna be a pie from the heaven above
Gonna be filled with strawberry love

Baby don’t you cry
Gonna make a pie
Hold you forever in the middle of my heart.
Baby heres the sun
Baby heres the sky
Baby I’m the light and I’m your shelter

Baby you are mine
I could freeze the time
Keep you in my kitchen with me forever
Gonna be a pie from the heaven above
Gonna be filled with strawberry love

Baby don’t you cry
Gonna make a pie
Hold you forever in the middle of my heart.

Gonna bake a pie from the heaven above
Gonna be filled with butterscotch love
Gonna be a pie from the heaven above
Gonna be filled with banana cream love

Baby don’t you cry
Gonna make a pie

Hold you forever x 2
Hold you forever in the middle of my heart

This is the song I promised I would sing to my future baby when they cry :') It's such a cute song!

2 corinthians 12:9-10
But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weakness, so that Christs power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ sake I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
I will never give you more then I know you can handle. My precious child there are some times of suffering in your life. But the temporary suffering of this life does not compare to the glory that shall be revealed in you. Know this that I am with you and I will help you. Your help comes from me, I am the God who created the heavens and the earth, and the one who created you. I will never leave you, I will never reject you.

I will not fail, for the Lord is with me.
“When you find someone who loves your flaws more than anything else about you, you found someone who truly loves you for who you are. Christ loves me not because of my good deeds. Nor does He love me because of my righteousness. Christ loves me because I am a sinner saved by grace. For where I am weak, His strength is. Christ loves my flaws more than anything else about me because where I fall short, He stands tall.”
At times my heart is so proud and my mind is so unfocused. And Lord, You gently break me, then lovingly You take me and hold me as my father and mold me as my maker. I ask you: “How many times will you pick me up, when I keep on letting you down? And each time I will fall short of Your glory, how far will forgiveness abound?” And you answer: ” My child, I love you and as long as you’re seeking My face, You’ll walk in the power of my daily sufficient grace.” At times I may grow weak and feel a bit discouraged, knowing that someone, somewhere could do a better job. For who am I to serve You? I know I don’t deserve You. And that’s the part that burns in my heart and keeps me hanging on. You are so patient with me, Lord. As I walk with You, I’m learning what Your grace really means. The price that I could never pay was paid at Calvary. So, instead of trying to repay You, I’m learning to simply obey You by giving up my life to you. For all that You’ve given to me.

"Things don’t go wrong and break your heart so you can become bitter and give up. They happen to break you down and build you up so you can be all you were intended to be."

"We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God,”, they said. -Acts 14:22"

David's Prayer: Psalm 17

Psalm 17
A prayer of David.
1 O LORD, hear my plea for justice.
Listen to my cry for help.
Pay attention to my prayer,
for it comes from honest lips.
2 Declare me innocent,
for you see those who do right.

3 You have tested my thoughts and examined my heart in the night.
You have scrutinized me and found nothing wrong.
I am determined not to sin in what I say.
4 I have followed your commands,
which keep me from following cruel and evil people.
5 My steps have stayed on your path;
I have not wavered from following you.

6 I am praying to you because I know you will answer, O God.
Bend down and listen as I pray.
7 Show me your unfailing love in wonderful ways.
By your mighty power you rescue
those who seek refuge from their enemies.
8 Guard me as you would guard your own eyes.*
Hide me in the shadow of your wings.
9 Protect me from wicked people who attack me,
from murderous enemies who surround me.
10 They are without pity.
  Listen to their boasting!
11 They track me down and surround me,
watching for the chance to throw me to the ground.
12 They are like hungry lions, eager to tear me apart—
like young lions hiding in ambush.

13 Arise, O LORD!
Stand against them, and bring them to their knees!
Rescue me from the wicked with your sword!
14 By the power of your hand, O LORD,
destroy those who look to this world for their reward.
But satisfy the hunger of your treasured ones.
  May their children have plenty,
leaving an inheritance for their descendants.
15 Because I am righteous, I will see you.
When I awake, I will see you face to face and be satisfied.

Another Day

I love you, Lord; you are my strength.

~ Psalm 18:1,

From Here and There

These are just some quotes or verses from here and there, copied and pasted on to here by me. I don't take the credit. I feel terrible, but I don't know the sources to some of these. Obviously, the verses are from the bible, but for the ones that aren't... sorry :(

-"I’m not telling you it’s going to be easy, I’m telling you it’s going to be worth it"

-Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.
~ Proverbs 4:23, NLT

-John Piper:
Persecution is normal for Christians. “All who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted.” (2 Tim. 3:12) “Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery tiral when it comes upon you to test you, as though something strange were happening to you” (1 Peter 4:12) “Through many tribulations we must enter the kingdom of God.” (Acts 14:22).

-In the New Testament this sobering truth does not diminish the focus on Joy - it increases it. “We rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance” (Romans 5:3) “Blessed are you when others…persecute you…Rejoice and be glad for your reward is great in heaven. (Matthew 5:11-12)

-"So wash me and make me shine like the sun. I want to tell everyone that You’re the only one."

-"In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths".

-Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
~ 1 Corinthians 13:7

-Always be joyful. Never stop praying. Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.
~ 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Paul Washer's Sermon: Will

These are just some notes I took while listening to a sermon by Paul Washer :)
Not much, just some point notes ^^

I want to be more because he loves me.
beauty and wealth=selfish desires

Everything we do in God's name has a reward.

-filled with the holy spirit -> JOY

-evidence that I believe in Jesus is I still believe in him and believe in him more than I did before
-evidence that I repented and was saved is that I repent still today
-evidence that I was truly saved by grace is that I keep walking and following Jesus and he continues changing me
-evidence that I'm Christian is that Jesus has done something in my life and that something He has done is the thing that motivates me to follow him and I want to be like him, and you continue on and on and on and on

Artistry Essentials: Soothing Creme (Amway)

So, I have another product review for you guys! This time it's on this soothing creme I received as a gift on Christmas. It's practically all used up now~. The ARTISTRY line is from Amway, just if you are wondering.

This was okay. What I liked about it was the fact that it didn't make me break out. It made me oily but wasn't moisturizing if it makes sense. I have the worst case of acne and acne scars according to the acne level chart. What sucks is that my skin is super sensitive, oily, but also very dry (dehydrated). This concludes that I need a very good, basically perfect moisturizer. This was good. It was okay. I used it up so it's good in someways, but it has cons. It's not moisturizing which made me reapply the creme, which may be the reason why it's almost used up.

Pros:
  • cheap
  • creamy
  • good for dry skin but not dehydrated skin
  • doesn't irritate the skin
  • doesn't break me out!
Cons:
  • Is Amway readily available?
  • leaves a greasy film on the skin...
  • not good for dehydrated skin
  • not very moisturizing... found myself constantly reapplying
  • contains alcohol so it dries away after you apply it on your skin
I found this cream to be very similar to the creams sold in drugstores. Save your money... Not that great...

Hopefully, I find the perfect creme for me soon! xoxo

Almost Spring--

Hey guys! I have more quotes for you! I've been MIA for a very long time, and sorry about that :).
Hope these wonderful quotes make it up to you :).

1. Your heart and Your mind is a mirror to Your soul.
I thought this quote was something I should really read and reflect on. I want my heard and mind to be beautiful as I want my soul to be beautiful. But this quote really made me reflect on how a beautiful soul is obtained by first your heart and mind.

2. “You are a treasure who was born for Greatness”
I really don't remember where I got this. It may be from a newsletter or email from some subscriptions I have made, most likely from Christian sites for devotions and stuff like that. I thought this was really nice. This is for all you Christians out there, and everyone; you are a treasure who was born for Greatness by God.

3. All that I am, all that I have, I lay them down before you O Lord. All my regrets, all my acclaim the joy and the pain, I’m making them yours. Lord I offer my life to You. Everything I’ve been through, use it for your glory. Lord I offer my days to You, lifting my praise to You as a pleasing sacrifice. Things in the past, things yet unseen, wishes and dreams that are yet to come true. All of my hopes, all of my plans, my heart and my hands are lifted to You.
I am pretty sure this is from a worship/praise song. Sorry, guys! I don't know the sources of most my quotes. I just see them and jot them down without considering the source D:. :) hehe... Sorry!
Anyways, I really reflected a lot from this quote. Everything I must lay down before God. Even my life. And I truly want everything I do, all my desires and passions to be for God. Although, lately it has been a struggle for me (my relationship with God), I've been trying and trying to develop a better relationship with him. Hopefully I can get back to you guys later with a better relationship with God~. <3

4. Philippians 4:9 “Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me, put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.”
Just a reminder for me, hehe.

5. “Do you believe that I am able to do this?”
“Yes Lord!” They replied
“According to your faith will it be done to you.”
[Matthew 9:28-29]
Another reminder for me, hehe lol. Just as the verse says, just as I want to believe. I think it takes a lot of faith to really fully believe anything. For example, I'd think it would be hard to believe if I has leprosy, that by a touch of Jesus' cloak I was healed. I admire them for having such great faith. I really want to grow to have faith that strong. Pray for me that I may <3

The END! xoxo
