"So for APs, i would suggest the princeton review and mcgraw-hill as being the best. ALL the teachers suggest Kaplan but honestly it really didn't prepare me as well as the other AP books did. So don't go off solely on Kaplan. Also, study from the notes/textbooks from schools, not just the AP books because all it does is give you a summary when in actual fact, you need to know a lot more in detail.

For the SATS, my advice would be not to make the mistake of thinking you have studied for the SATs when you have studied for the APs, thinking they're the same material. They actually test quite differently, so you should devote around 2 months or so studying for the subject tests. Try the Princeton Review for the SATs...they worked really well for me! And for the SATs, don't study the material that your teachers teach, cuz the syllabus tested in the SATs is the american syllabus - so not at all like the canadian one. you're gonna waste a whole lot of time if you study your school material all over again.

Yes AP, SATs (subject and actual) would be all. For the SAT, prepare well in advance. If you're planning to take it in September, start preparing in the summer. Do as many practice (timed) tests as you can to get used to the timing. VOCAB is extremely important because it helps in both the reading and writing sections which is what a lot of people fault on (the math is superbly easy). What I would suggest would be to write out the words and meanings on index cards so you can carry them around and review them wherever. Or. what I did was get my mom to test me - so read out a word and I say the meaning. Whatever your means though, make sure you know your vocab really really well. As for the reading, the only way to prepare for that would be to practice. ANd for the math, just making sure you are especially careful because it's really easy, all Grade 11 level stuff and below. just don't make any careless mistakes."
